What bed sizes are available?

• Single beds Ideal for one person. A single-sized divan will typically measure 90 x 190 cm.
• Double beds Perfect for those who want a little more room to spread, or couples who prefer being close together.
• King size beds Offering two people plenty of sleeping space, king size beds are the most popular size in the UK.
• Super king size beds Ideal for those who really like to spread out when they sleep, the super king size bed frame is the largest standard size in the UK.

It's important to find the bed size that's right for you. This means thinking about how you like to sleep, whether you will be sharing your bed and the size of your room. Consider the space where you sleep and what you use it for. Do you work or study there and need space for a desk? If you have younger children, do they need room to play? Do queen size beds exist in the UK?

Queen size beds can be found in the UK, but they’re often referred to as small doubles. They can be good for smaller bedrooms where couples don’t mind being cosy, or for individuals who want a bit more room to stretch. What’s the difference between a bed base and a bed frame?

Bed bases are the box-like structures that a mattress sits on, and that a headboard is attached to. The gap between the bed base and the floor is minimal. A bed frame, on the other hand, is a more open structure. It will typically have four legs, a headboard attached, and there’ll be more space between the frame and the floor.

Do TEMPUR^® beds come with headboards?

TEMPUR^® beds don’t come with headboards, but we do offer them as optional extras. We offer a wide range of styles, fabrics, and colours, and our headboards are designed to suit every base we offer. You can explore our range of headboards online.
